Scoring
The objective is to complete the challenge with the lowest possible score. Scorekeepers will take your time from the 1 mile run, and then subtract 1 second for every repetition completed in the pull up, sit up, and push up events. Women individual competitors and all-female teams will do a bent arm hang instead of pull ups, and each second of the arm hang subtracts 1 second off your time.
The Details.
Teams: Each team member will participate in one event. Three of the team members will have 2.5 minutes to do as many repetitions as they can in their event for the pull ups, sit ups, and push ups. The fourth member runs 1 mile. It is up to the team to decide who competes in each event.

Individuals: Individuals will complete all four events by themselves. Individuals will have 2.5 minutes to do as many reps as they can in each event, with 30 second breaks in between each event. So participants will have 2.5 minutes of pull ups, a 30 second break, 2.5 minutes of sit ups, a 30 second break, 2.5 minutes of pushups, a 30 second break, and a 1 mile run (probably not in 2.5 minutes...but go for it!).

Everyone: Participants are allowed to rest at any time during their event. It is not expected that the participants be able to do all of the challenges for the entire time allotted. The whole point of this challenge is to go until the point of exhaustion, and then push yourself to try to do more before you run out of time. Pushing yourself through those last few reps is what Myrel defined as going into "BEAST MODE."

Rules
Pull-Ups: For men, pull-ups will only be counted when arms are straightened on the way down and the participant’s chin clears the bar on the way up. These will be dead hanging pull-ups, meaning that no kipping/swinging is allowed. Women individual competitors and all-female teams will do a bent arm hang, with the arms staying at a 90 degree angle. Once you fall from a arm hang, you cannot hang again.

Push-Ups: It doesn't matter what type of push-up you do as long as your body is straight, and you lower yourself until your elbows reach a 90 degree angle.
Picture
Sit ups: Hands must overlap behind the participant’s head. The participant’s shoulders will touch the ground on the way down, and  elbows have to touch their knees on the way up.

Mile: The 1 mile run will be completed on the Frazee High School track. Runners must not step inside the innermost white line of the track during their run.

If the criteria for a repetition is not met, the repetition will not count toward the participant’s total. We reserve the right to disqualify participants as necessary based on any misconduct during the event.
